OUR POLICIES & SAFEGUARDING
At Starlight we are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all of our dancers and staff. With this in mind we have the following policies in place, reviewed annually and available upon request:

In addition all teaching staff are Enhanced DBS checked, with child checks and are licensed Chaperones with Trafford Council. All TAs over the age of 16 are required to hold a Basic DBS check.
Staff Training:
All members of staff attend regular training to ensure they are able to comply with all of our policies and safety procedures as relevant to their role.
We conduct regular Risk Assessments on our own venues as well as for external events as required. Our safeguarding team are committed to regular Safeguarding training.
